Part 12
And here it is in its entirety!
I even finished the bullion knots! Not bad for my first try! This SAL has been claimed by my DD, Samantha. It was her idea to use the purples and greens on the blue. It was stitched on 25 ct Wedgewood Blue Lugana using GAST Purple Iris, Hyacinth, Jasmine, Baby Spinach, and Crescent Colours Purple Aster and Spinach, with Mill Hill Seed Beads in white (#00479). Thanks again to Thread'N'Eye for hosting this SAL!
I joined a new group, and I have to say that they are WAY more talented then me! But I try my best. We have a group project, a TW bookmark to complete by June 1. I started it last night, but am having difficulty with it because it is not on a grid completely. I am really struggling with this one. Here are the colours I have chosen.
This one is being stitched on Antique White 28 ct evenweave using Caron Waterlilies #207 Bermuda Reef, GAST Huckleberry and Tutti Fruitti. Now, I am not normally into blues, but I love the turquoise range of blues. It is one of my favourite colours, along with pinks and reds. Please wish me luck as I navigate this one!
That's all for now, but I hope to have an update on my other SAL's and projects in the near future. I also have to make a baby album and assorted scrapping projects in the coming months. More on that later! ( I am under a gag order, but had to give a small hint! And no, it's not me! Hubby might have a few questions for me if that's the case! LOL!)

I would have been next in line after Samantha to claim it, lol! Gorgeous colours, my favourites and well done on the bullion knots. I have done them but was very nervous, I remember!
wow that looks great I luv the colours too!
Your finish looks fantastic! Congratulations. Hmmm that's not like a TW not to have grids... or is it that there's no symbols on it?
I love the colours you used. it looks great!! Good luck w/the bookmark..
Gorgeous finish!
Sending good wishes on your bookmark. Colors are great!
Wow - this is just beautiful - great job! I know DD will be thrilled. :) Good luck with your bookmark - your colors are so pretty!

All I can say is WOW! It's just gorgeous, and Samantha is a lucky girl! Try to have fun with the bookmark...That's what sitching is all about!! *Hugs*
Beautiful!! Good luck on your bookmark- looks like it's going to lovely when finished! Those colors are so pretty!
Good luck with the bookmark. I've never stitched a TW before; they scare the begeebers out of me!
SAL is beautiful! Your lucky DD to get this one.
Your finish is lovely! Congratulations ~ it is well deserved.
I have that bookmark pattern I started but never finished. It is hard to read those that are not quite grafted. I got mixed up because of the knotting effect. Probably why I scrapped it.
Good Luck you will do fine if you finished that gorgeous piece.
God Bless your stitching fingers ~
Lenna
beautiful finish Melissa! Also love the colors you chose for the TW bookmark. Hers are hard to do even if the chart is perfect, lol. Hang in there...you've proven you can do it!
